秦军宿卫
The veteran guard represents strength already built through experience. Its high starting Rank is balanced by independence from further positive bonuses.

What it means in play
This Infantry starts at Rank 6 and cannot receive positive Rank modifiers from any source. Do not add commander, support, terrain or stratagem bonuses that would increase its Rank.
The historical lens
This is a fictional veteran formation; Rank 6 is a balance value, not a historical rating.
Reading the illustration
Seasoned soldiers and restrained bronze fittings distinguish the source concept from ceremonial splendour.
Rank measures game combat strength, not historical seniority. Unit names and special abilities are modern design interpretations. Read the rules.
