OUR DEVELOPMENT VISION

The first battle is
only the beginning.

Fight the War begins with Qin and Zhao. Our ambition is to explore how warfare changes across eras, while keeping the decisions at the table clear and engaging.

New eras. New decisions.

DirectionWhat we hope to explore
Ancient warfareFormations, command, terrain and concealed forces.
World War ITrenches, supply, artillery and the challenge of breaking a defended front.
World War IIArmoured formations, combined arms, air power and naval operations.
Campaign playLinked battles, resources and decisions that carry into the next engagement.

These are development directions, not announced products. Compatibility between eras, final rules and release dates are not yet decided. Added complexity should create meaningful choices; it should not simply make later cards stronger.

How AI can help

We intend to use AI for creative development, simulated playtesting, balance analysis and historical research support, with human review and real-player feedback guiding the results. AI-assisted illustrations are already part of the project.

The current browser game provides local two-player pass-and-play, open practice and guided lessons. AI opponents, remote multiplayer and future campaign systems are ambitions, not features included in this first release.

Why the first supporters matter

The first printing helps fund the physical game, test its production and build a community of players. Supporters receive the specified first-edition contents; future expansions are not bundled rewards or guaranteed delivery promises.
