What it means in play
Reveal one enemy within two spaces of a friendly Scout; no combat occurs. Unlike the Scout’s own action text, this stratagem does not say to reveal the Scout.
The historical lens
The card’s network is an interpretive motif, not a reconstruction of a particular Zhao reporting system.
Reading the illustration
A sealed report exchanged beside a beacon is the source visual shorthand for communication.
Rank measures game combat strength, not historical seniority. Unit names and special abilities are modern design interpretations. Read the rules.
